Police: Shots Fired Outside Mall In Montgomery Co.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Montgomery County Police are investigating reports of shots fired at a mall.

Officers responded to a parking lot at the Westfield Montgomery Mall just after 7 p.m. Friday.

Authorities say officers found shell casings and parked vehicles that were shot.

Detectives believe two pairs of men got into an argument that started off mall property. The fight continued to the mall parking lot where shots were fired by "one or more of the subjects." The suspects then fled the area.

No victims have been reported.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
