Montgomery County Firefighters Sent To Wrong Address

ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — Firefighters went to the wrong house in Montgomery County when responding to a fire Friday night.

The house crews went to was in Rockville, 16 miles away from the actual scene, which was in Wheaton.

Montgomery County Police oversee the 911 Call Center, and they said they are looking into what happened.

No one was injured in the fire, but two residents are now homeless because of the damage.
