Money Flies From Car Of Fleeing Bank Robber

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police say money flew from the car of a bank robber driving away from the scene.

Officers say a man walked into the Bank of America in Upper Marlboro about 10 a.m. Tuesday. Police say the man went to a teller, showed a handgun and demanded cash.

Authorities say the teller gave the robber money and he fled in a car.

Police say a dye bag with the cash exploded and money flew out of the car. Officers recovered the money.
