Owner Finds Missing Dog, Struck By Car In Baltimore, 'Doesn't Seem To Be Injured'

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore woman has found her dog that was struck by a car and ran off Tuesday around 7:30 p.m.

Alex Baker posted a plea on Facebook asking residents to look for her dog Maki.

Maki got off his leash around 7:30 p.m. Monday near Saint Paul and Madison.

He then was struck by a car and ran off.

Baker ran after him for one mile and lost him around the jail.

Baker posted on Facebook Wednesday that her dog had been found and, "doesn't appear to be injured."

He will stay at BARCS overnight for evaluation and to get a check-up.
