Minority Business Summit Taking Place In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) — A minority business summit is taking place in Baltimore.

Organizers are calling Wednesday's event the first-ever summit on advanced minority manufacturing in the mid-Atlantic region.

Mayor Catherine Pugh and Maryland Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford are scheduled to attend the summit.

It's designed to assist and support minority manufacturers and minority companies by connecting them to new opportunities.
