Mike Preston Would Not Change The Extra Point Rules

Mike Preston covers the Ravens and writes a column for the Baltimore Sun sports section.

Mike joined Ed and Steve to talk about the NFL rules changes and the Ravens off-season.

Mike started off by talking about the new NFL rule changes including the extra point asking what he would do Mike said "I'd keep it the way it is because there is nothing wrong with it...maybe move it back, sometimes when you watch an extra point it's like the Pro Bowl you don't see guys giving a lot of effort." As for whether or not the game of football is in danger with young players retiring because of injuries Mike said "I think it's in danger because the players are bigger, stronger, and faster...remember watching the Jetsons and watching the robotic players, maybe that's what we'll have down the road with these injuries." Mike also talked about future free agent situations with the offensive line since Marshall Yanda and Kelechi Osemele both have expiring contracts next season.
