Mike Preston Grades The Ravens Big Win In New Orleans

Mike Preston covers the Ravens and writes a column for the Baltimore Sun sports section.

Mike grades every Ravens performance and here are his grades for the 34-27 win over the Saints.

Mike's grades were high for the most part as the team didn't give much to pick apart. For Joe Flacco the grade was a B with Mike saying "Joe's didn't have overwhelming numbers, but he managed a strong game." As for the night Justin Forsett and the other running backs Mike gave them an A saying "Justin Forsett was outstanding from start to finish." The O Line received an A- while the receivers took the low grade of C+ with Mike saying "Steve Smith showed he is still one of the best in the league...Torrey had a solid outing, but this was basically the Steve Smith show." As for the Defense Mike gave the D line and linebackers equal grades of A-, while the Secondary took home a C- grade. Special teams was given a B from Mike and the coaching received a B+ with Mike saying "the Ravens looked like a team coming off a bye week. They played with energy and enthusiasm."
