Mel Brooks To Share Stories At 'Blazing Saddles' Screening

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Comedian Mel Brooks will share stories from his career and life at the Kennedy Center after a screening of "Blazing Saddles."

The 2009 Kennedy Center honoree will appear at the concert hall Feb. 6 after a screening of the 1974 satire of Westerns.

The film will be followed by an audience-led Q&A session with Brooks.

The director, producer, writer and actor is one of the few entertainers to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. He's known for many movies including "The Producers," "Young Frankenstein," "History of the World Part I" and "Spaceballs."
