Md. Woman Dies After Repeatedly Run Over By Car; Husband Is Person Of Interest

WALDORF, Md. (AP) -- Police believe a Maryland woman whose body was found in a strip mall parking lot was purposefully and repeatedly run over by a car.

Charles County police spokeswoman Diane Richardson said Monday that 36-year-old Jennifer Lynn Weyhenmeyer's death is being investigated as a homicide and that her husband is a person of interest.

Richardson says the couple was seen arguing less than a half-hour before the woman's body was found behind a Pizza Hut at 3220 Crain Highway in Waldorf on Sunday.

Police found the woman's husband at their Waldorf home shortly after and took him to a hospital for evaluation. Richardson declined to say why the man was being evaluated.

Richardson says the couple's car was in the driveway and had evidence that matched evidence at the scene.
