ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A large union for Maryland teachers is endorsing state Sen. Brian Frosh for attorney general.

The Maryland State Education Association voted Saturday to endorse the Montgomery County Democrat at a meeting in Annapolis. The association says 86 percent of the delegates at the meeting voted in favor of the endorsement.

The union also endorsed Comptroller Peter Franchot, a Democrat.
