2 Suspects Arrested In Connection With Death Of N.Y. Man

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland State Police arrest two suspects in connection with a murder in Carroll County over the weekend.

Lester Snyder, 26, and Meghan Goforth, 26, are charged in connection with the death of 23-year-old Luis Pol. An additional charge of first-degree murder was filed against Snyder.

Police responded to a 911 call from a motorist on Route 32 at Nicodemus Road near Gamber. Troopers found a man, later identified as Pol, lying in the roadway.

The victim had sustained what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe Snyder and Goforth were living together and were acquaintances of Pol, who had been staying with friends in the Gamber area.
