Md. Officials To Shut Part Of Light Rail System For Work

HUNT VALLEY, Md. (AP) -- Transportation officials in Maryland are shutting down part of the light rail system in Baltimore County to do track work.

The Maryland Transit Administration says it will close the light rail system between the Hunt Valley and Warren Road stations on Saturday and Sunday. The Maryland Transit Administration says they'll be doing work at the Gilroy Station, one of three stations between Hunt Valley and Warren Road.

Officials say there will be a shuttle bus that goes between the Hunt Valley and the Warren Road stations during service hours on Saturday and Sunday.  Supervisors will be on hand to assist customers at the Warren Road station.
