Md. Officials To Hold Wreath-Laying Ceremony To Observe MLK

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland officials will observe the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a wreath-laying ceremony.

The Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland will hold the event Monday night for the annual ceremony.

The ceremony will take place at the memorial oak tree on the grounds of the Maryland State House.

The event will include some brief remarks from Maryland officials, as well as a recital of famous quotations from King's speeches.
