Md. Man Struck While Dragging Dead Deer Across The Road
OAKLAND, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a man was struck by a car while dragging a dead deer across the road in Oakland.
Police say the accident occurred at about 6 p.m. on Saturday on Gorman Road new White Church Steyer Road when a man got out of his car and tried to drag a dead deer across the northbound lane of Gorman Road. Police say a Toyota Camry was driving northbound and struck the man and the deer. The man was flown to a hospital for his injuries.
Police say the driver of the Camry is not at fault and no charges will be filed.
