Md. Man Pleads Guilty To Sex Trafficking Of Girl

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Glen Burnie man has pleaded guilty to the sex trafficking of a 15-year-old girl.

Thomas Sean Tinsley, 29, entered the plea Thursday in federal court in Baltimore. If the court accepts the plea deal, Tinsley will be sentenced to between 10 years and 17 years in prison on July 2.

According to his plea agreement, Tinsley met the girl, a runaway, near the Inner Harbor, and invited her to live with him in a motel.

Prosecutors say Tinsley began having sex with the girl and encouraged her to engage in prostitution to pay for the motel room and to provide him with money.
