Md. Man Convicted In Delmar Slaying

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- A Wicomico County jury has convicted a man of second-degree murder in a shooting in Delmar.

The jury deliberated about five hours on Wednesday before convicting Eddie Savage Jr., 30, in the shooting death of Kenneth Sparks, 48, of Hurlock.

Authorities say Savage shot Sparks in the face after an argument July 7 in a driveway outside Savage's home.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that a sentencing date has not been set.
