Md. Man Charged In Stabbing Death Of Uncle

FORESTVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police have charged a man with fatally stabbing his uncle.

Police say they were called to the 4000-block of Suit Road in Forestville for a possible stabbing on Feb. 4. When they arrived, they found Michael Thomas Johnson, 34, suffering from stab wounds. Johnson was hospitalized but died Friday.

Police say a preliminary investigation suggests Johnson's nephew, Andray Dawayne Johnson, stabbed his uncle during an argument in their home. He was arrested at the scene the night police were called, and police say he admitted his involvement.

Andray Johnson, 35, was initially charged with attempted second-degree murder. Following his uncle's death, police have now charged him with first- and second-degree murder.

An apparent telephone listing for him was busy Sunday.
