Md. Man Acquitted In Thanksgiving Slaying

SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) -- A Worcester County jury has found a Salisbury man not guilty of first-degree murder and other charges in the slaying of a Princess Anne man.

The jury on Thursday acquitted 29-year-old Cory Hamilton in the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Adrian Lurele Marshall in his home on Nov. 28.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that the trial had been moved from Somerset County at the request of Hamilton's lawyer.

Stephanie Shipley says her client has repeatedly denied any involvement in Marshall's slaying.

Hamilton has been released from jail and looks forward to being reunited with his family, Shipley said.

Don Hanna Jr. was convicted of first-degree murder in the slaying. Brandon Early was also charged with first-degree murder; his trial is scheduled for October.
