Md. Live Casino Unveils $1 Million Slot Machine

HANOVER, Md. (AP) -- Maryland's most popular casino will unveil a $1 million slot machine.

Maryland Live is poised to present a slot machine that invites gamblers to bet $500 for a single chance at a $1 million payout.

The machine is scheduled to open for betting on Saturday at 11 p.m.

The Capital of Annapolis, Maryland, reports the machine is the first of its kind in the state.

Gamblers who pony up $500 to play could also win $10,000, $50,000 or $100,000.

The timing of the new machine coincides with the casino surpassing its $10 billion payout mark.
