Md. Fire Marshal IDs Mount Airy Fatal Fire Victim

MOUNT AIRY, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is releasing the name of a woman who died in a house fire in Mount Airy.

The agency said Thursday that the state medical examiner's office has determined that she was 75-year-old Nancy Bullock. She died of smoke inhalation.

The fire marshal's office says Bullock's husband, Robert, escaped without injury from the fire on Flag Marsh Road on Sunday.

The agency says the fire started in the first floor living room. Investigators haven't determined the cause of the blaze.
