McDonald's All-American Game Recap With Quint Kessenich

Quint Kessenich of ESPN joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to recap the McDonald's All-American game which featured the Terps 5-Star committ Diamond Stone. Quint gave his thoughts on what he saw from Maryland's top recruit. "I think it's a huge recruit. I was impressed with what I saw from him all week long in practice, in the scrimmage and in the game. While he's not the greatest leaper, he really uses his hips and his shoulders well. Tenacious, loved his attitude, a competitor and really good around the basket. He's really good around the basket, was well liked by his teammates and I thought he showed a lot of maturity in dealing with the media... This is a huge piece for the Terps and just a great, great recruit for them."

The McDonald's All-American Game hosts the best High School players in the country, Scott asked Q if he believes the players appreciated what they were given over the past week. "They get treated great all week long. They're exposed to the past stars who played in the game like Alonzo Mourning, Lebron, Kobe, Christian Laettner the signs are just every where and there is just a real celebration of the game. I think the kids were in awe."
