Mayor Rawlings-Blake Makes Debut In Musical 'Chicago'

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake trades in City Hall for the stage.

The mayor made her big debut in the musical "Chicago" Wednesday night.

She served as narrator for the opening number "All that Jazz" at the Hippodrome Theatre downtown.

Mayor Rawlings-Blake rehearsed long and hard before the show.

"Chicago" producers said they chose the mayor to appear because of her passion for the arts.
