Maryland Zoo Offers 'Sip And Paint' Event Inside Penguin Coast

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Arts and crafts night could have an interesting twist at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.

The zoo recently announced it would be hosting several 'sip and paint' nights inside the Penguin Coast exhibit.

Artist guides will help you re-create the featured painting step-by-step.

"Where The Wild Things Art" will run from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on May 13, June 3, July 8 and August 5.

The paint nights are appropriate for ages 16 or older. The $45 ticket cost includes one complimentary beverage of water, soda, beer or wine. It also includes canvas, paint brushes, easel, aprons, up close photo ops with the zoo's animal ambassadors.

A cash bar is available for those 21 and older.
