Maryland Weather: Severe Weather Rolls Through The State

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A strong line of storms rolled through the region just before 4 p.m. Thursday and headed east.

The storm was so strong that a tornado touched down in Columbia, Maryland.

The main threats were gusty winds and hail. Frequent lightning and heavy downpours are also occurring.
