Maryland Weather: Storms Move Through Parts Of The Region; More Possible Wednesday
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Storms moved through parts of the state Tuesday, and more are possible Wednesday.
Because of the heat and humidity, some thunderstorms popped up in western Maryland and moved east into the evening. Some areas picked up one to two inches of rain.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George's counties through 8:45 p.m.

A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued for Caroline and Talbot counties until 10:30 p.m.
All severe thunderstorm warnings in Maryland have since expired.
There's also a risk of severe storms Wednesday. Storms are likely between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., WJZ Meteorologist Chelsea Ingram said.
The heatwave is also expected to continue, with temperatures expected to be in the upper-90s.
