Maryland Weather: Rain Continues Friday As Temperatures Cool Down, Flood Warnings Issued In The Region
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Rain continued Friday across parts of Maryland while temperatures cool down. Flood warnings were issued been issued and some damage and flooding was reported in the area.
Friday's rain was lighter, off-and-on with some periods of dry weather. It's not expected to move out until Friday night.
But the forecast will improve in time for the weekend.
A flood warning was issued for Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Charles County.

In Towson, high water closed Ruxton Road at Bellona Avenue. Emergency officials say two rescues were made after cars ignored a warning sign. Don't drown. turn around!

Two separate water rescue calls occurred this afternoon. Multiple cars have either driven or attempted to drive past the closed road sign.

A flood warning was issued for Charles County through 2:45 p.m. A flash flood watch was also issued through 12 a.m. Saturday.

Friday's temperatures are lower than the heatwave that hit Maryland this week. Although Friday's rains is not soaking, due to the rain Thursday, some of the same issues could still be problems.
