Maryland Weather: Bright & Breezy Thursday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After flooding rain and damaging winds overnight, our weather has completely turned around.

The last of the storms cleared out between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. and blue skies have since taken over.

High pressure is building behind a cold front, bringing us a bright and breezy day.

Winds blowing in from the west-northwest will be between 10-15 miles per hour, but we could see 30-mph gusts.

Highs will be in the mid 80s and it will be quite pleasant because humidity is low.

Temperatures overnight will dip into the mid 50s to the low 60s.

Friday is another fabulous day with partly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 80s.

The same cannot be said for Saturday.

Rain arrives early in the morning. We'll get a bit of a break before another round takes over in the afternoon.

We're not looking at strong or storms, though, just plain rain and a couple of thunderstorms.

Sunday looks mostly cloudy with a few breaks of sun and highs near 80.

There is a minimal chance for a stray afternoon thunderstorm.
