COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Maryland standout running back Lorenzo Harrison has been suspended indefinitely for violating the school's student-athlete code of conduct.

Receiver DJ Turner and linebacker Antoine Brooks also have been suspended. The sanctions were announced Saturday shortly before the Terrapins faced No. 6 Ohio State.

Harrison, a 5-foot-8 freshman, leads Maryland with five rushing touchdowns. He has run for 664 yards and averages 7.2 yards per attempt.

Turner has two catches for 19 yards, and Brooks has four tackles in four games.
