Maryland Police Recover Dirt Bikes Stolen From Baltimore

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (AP) -- Nearly a dozen dirt bikes and scooters have been recovered after police say they were stolen from a Brooklyn Park business.

The Capital Gazette reports that officers responded early Thursday morning to a business after a witness reported seeing several juveniles breaking into the business and a steel storage container on the property. The witness also said the juveniles were stealing several dirt bikes and motorized scooters from the business and placing them in a pickup truck.

Police say that by the time they arrived, the juveniles had already fled. They later found the pickup truck unoccupied in Brooklyn Park.

Police say the truck had 10 dirt bikes and scooters loaded in the bed. They later determined that the truck had been stolen.
