Maryland Officials Seeking Help To Solve 2010 Murder

LUSBY, Md. (AP) -- Officials in Maryland are asking for the public's help in finding the person or people who killed a Calvert County woman found murdered in her car in 2010.

Monday marks five years since 41-year-old Sandra Long was found dead in her car in Lusby.

Maryland State Police said in a news release that her car was found parked in the hunters' parking area of Calvert Cliffs State Park. State Police say evidence indicates Long died of multiple stab wounds, and investigators believe her car may have been moved to the location where it was found after she was killed.

State Police say Calvert County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
