Maryland Man Killed In Crash After Losing Control Of Car

BRANDYWINE, Md. (AP) -- A 33-year-old Charles County man has been killed in a car wreck.

The Prince George's County Police Department says patrol officers were called to the crash scene in Brandywine around 5 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, they found Adrean Austin of Hughesville suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

Police say that the preliminary investigation shows Austin was heading northbound on Brandywine Road when he lost control on a curve. His car crossed into the oncoming lanes of traffic and hit an SUV. The driver of the SUV had non-life-threatening injuries.
