Maryland Adds 10,100 Jobs, Largest Gains Since 2015

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland added more than 10,000 jobs in September.

It's the largest single-month gain since 2015.

The unemployment rate for the state dropped to 3.7 percent.

The education and health services sector had the most growth with about 4,400 jobs added.

Gov. Hogan says this is a sign that Maryland is open for business.
