Flu Activity High And Widespread In Maryland

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Flu activity is higher than normal for this time of year, and that includes right here in Maryland.

The virus is considered widespread with higher activity.

There have been more than 4,600 cases statewide. That means nearly 1,300 people have gotten sick with the flu in just the past week.

Four people have died in Maryland so far this flu season.
