Maryland Flags At Half-Staff To Honor Former Gov. Mandel

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Flags in Maryland are flying at half-staff to honor the memory of former Gov. Marvin Mandel.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan ordered flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset Thursday in honor of Mandel, who died Sunday at 95.

A funeral is being held Thursday at Sol Levinson & Bros. Funeral Home in Pikesville. After the services, the interment will be at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
