Craft Breweries Surging In Popularity Including In Maryland, Research Finds

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- We all know craft beers have become super popular in Maryland.
But what you might not know is craft breweries are surging in popularity across the country.
New numbers from the Brewers Association show there are nearly 7,500 craft brewers in the U.S.
About 80 percent of those are here in Maryland.
In 2018, domestic sales reached a record of $27.6 billion, which represents 24 percent of the American Beer Market.
