Maryland Sees New Snowfall Saturday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Maryland caps off a wild week of winter weather with yet another round of snow.

Meteorologist Tim Williams has more.

Timeline:

This storm tapered off in the afternoon. North of the city we saw about an inch of wet snow, but mainly light rain mixed with some wet snow from the city on south.

Clearing skies and colder temperatures Saturday night will cause a refreeze as usual on untreated surfaces. Winds will pick up through the afternoon. A dry and sunny but colder Sunday will end the weekend on a more positive note!

Frederick: 19.0"

Elkridge: 16.0"

Rockville: 14.5"

Hanover: 13.0"

Future:

Enjoy the snow while it lasts because by the end of next week we are looking at temperatures near 50 to 55 degrees!
