Maryland CEO Resigns After Allegedly Stealing Neighbor's Panties

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--An Anne Arundel County official accused of breaking into his neighbor's home has resigned.

Police say 70-year-old Robert Hannon was caught on surveillance camera rifling through his neighbor's underwear drawer.

She wasn't home at the time  of the incident.

Hannon, who was the head of the county's Economic Development Corporation, is charged with several counts of burglary and illegal entry.

County Executive Steve Schuh announced Hannon's resignation on Wednesday.
