Maryland Businesses Preparing For Boom Over Holiday Weekend

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Businesses across Maryland are preparing for a boom in business, thanks to Memorial Day.

With the sun finally shining, people are getting a jump start on the holiday weekend.

Boats are going in the water as people are preparing to go out on the high sea. Between boating trips, food and snowball stands, this should be a great long weekend for everyone.

The sunny celebration also evident at Carroll Park Golf Course. Many are cutting the work week short and hitting the links.
