Maryland Bill Would Allow Local Jurisdictions To Make Decisions About Distribution, Sales Of Tobacco Products

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow cities and counties to make decisions about the sale and distribution of tobacco products.

If passed, this bill would allow areas to impose tougher restrictions on the age limit to buy things like cigarettes and cigars.

They would also have the authority to limit what items are sold, including vapes.
