First Alert Forecast: 80° temps return Wednesday

Chief Meteorologist Derek Beasley has your Tuesday night forecast

BALTIMORE -- If you haven't had a chance to get outside and enjoy the nice weather, you'll have more opportunities this week!

Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy overnight as some high clouds filter into the region from the north through Wednesday morning.

Lows tonight will only drop into the mid and upper 50s. From Wednesday through Friday, the skies will be partly cloudy with high temperatures ranging from the low 80s on Wednesday to the upper 80s on Thursday and Friday.

The nighttime lows will range between the 50s and near 60 by Friday night.

However, clouds are expected to increase across the area again on Friday night, which could lead to some showers and thunderstorms on Saturday. Chances for rain Saturday look very small.

A better chance for rain will arrive on Sunday with a cold front, which could bring more showers and storms.

As a result of this weather system, the high temperature over the weekend will cool down to the mid-70s, offering some relief from the warmer days earlier in the week.

After the cold front passes early next week, temperatures will drop back into the 60s for highs, which is around average for this time of year.

There may be a slight chance of lingering showers on Monday morning, but for the most part, the next week looks dry and pleasant. It's important to stay tuned to the latest weather updates as conditions can change quickly. Overall, get ready to enjoy some lovely weather over the next few days, with some slight chances of rain and cooler temperatures over the weekend.
