Child, mother found safe after Amber Alert in Maryland

A 4-year-old boy and his mother were found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Friday evening, according to Maryland State Police. 

The alert detailed that the child and his 33-year-old mother, Erica Brooks, were last seen in Anne Arundel County. 

The Amber Alert was issued around 3 p.m., and police reported that the child was found around 4:30 p.m.
