Mark Turgeon Previews No. 3 Ranked Terps 2015 Campaign

Coach Turgeon talks about the pressure he and his players are under with such a high preseason ranking. As the season gets ready to begin, those high expectations are something Coach says he is not surprised, he saw the program being here. Mark emphasizes that staying humble will be one of the biggest things he can instill on his players with those expectations.

Turgeon had high praise for players like Melo Trimble, the preseason Big 10 Player Of The Year, and Jake Layman and expects big things from them this year. Layman, according to Coach Turgeon, has put in a ton of work in the offseason to improve his game and is very "comfortable" with where he is.

When asked about what type player he looks for basketball smarts, skill and toughness are at the top of Coach's list of requirements. One of those players that meet those requirements (and then some) is Diamond Stone. Turgeon had nothing but good things to say about his 6'11" center.

Listen in to hear what Coach has to say about playing a game in Baltimore for the first time since 1999 and much more!
