Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Train In Halethorpe Thursday Morning
HALETHORPE, Md. (WJZ) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train Thursday morning, according to Baltimore County fire officials, causing delays to the Camden line of the MARC train.
Around 3:49 a.m. Thursday, a CSX train fatally struck an unauthorized person on the railroad tracks near Hammonds Ferry Road and Clyde Ave in Halethorpe, CSX said in a statement.

The incident happened near the St. Denis Station.

No crew members were injured.
"CSX appreciates the swift response by Baltimore County police, who are investigating the incident. At CSX safety is our highest priority in the communities where we operate and we remind the public that any activity on or near a rail line is dangerous," the company said in a statement.
