Man Who Had $10M Worth Of Heroin In Home Sentenced

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A man who prosecutors say had $10 million worth of heroin and more than $800,000 in cash stashed in his Baltimore home has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison.

Forty-two-year-old Shawn Hearn pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute heroin. He was sentenced Friday in federal court in Baltimore.

Prosecutors say on Sept. 25, police executed a search warrant on Hearn's home. Authorities say Hearn showed officers where 10 kilograms of heroin, $825,000 in cash and 70 bars of a heroin diluent, were stored in the home.
