Police ID Man Who Stabbed Co-Worker At Car Dealership

WHITE MARSH, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say a man is in custody after he allegedly stabbed his co-worker during a fight at a car dealership.

Authorities say two employees of Koons Chevrolet in White Marsh were arguing inside the service bay on Tuesday when one man stabbed the other man several times in the upper body.

The suspect, later identified as 31-year-old Demetric Phillips, fled the scene and was apprehended Wednesday morning.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. They did not disclose his condition.

Phillips has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
