Three People Shot, Wounded In Baltimore Shootings Sunday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Three people were shot and wounded in separate shootings in Baltimore Sunday, Baltimore Police said.

Officers found a 46-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds about 12:40 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Bentalou Street in west Baltimore, police said.

The man was taken to an area hospital and is in serious condition.

A man had been shot in the chest in the 400 block of North Lucerne Street about 4:50 p.m. He was taken to a hospital and is in serious but stable condition, police said.

His age was not disclosed.

Officers also found a 24-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg in the same area. Her injury is not life-threatening.

Police are asking anyone with information on the first shooting to call detectives in the Western District at 410-396-2477. Police are asking anyone with information about the other shooting to call detectives in the Southeastern District at 410-396-2422.
