Man Shot In Leg In SW Baltimore Early Sunday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police are investigating an early morning shooting Sunday in the southwest district.

According to police, officers responded to an area hospital around 12:18 a.m. for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

There they found a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

The victim told police he was walking in the 2700 block of Wilkens Avenue when he was shot.

Officers did identify the crime scene and detectives were called to investigate.
