Man Sentenced To 10 Years For Robbing Maryland Bank

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for robbing a bank in Cockeysville.

Fifty-year-old Arnold Threet was also ordered to pay restitution of nearly $9,000 at sentencing Friday in federal court in Baltimore.

According to his plea agreement, on July 5, 2013, Threet and a conspirator walked into First Mariner Bank. The masked men ordered people to get on the floor and one, armed with what appeared to be a gun, demanded cash.

Prosecutors say the robbers got cash and fled in a car, but were stopped by police.
