Man Sentenced For Killing Wife, Mother-In-Law
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- An Oxon Hill man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for killing his wife and mother-in-law in their home.
Fifty-five-year-old Malcolm Thomas, who pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree murder, was sentenced Tuesday in Prince George's County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors say Thomas' wife, 54-year-old Janice Marshall-Thomas, and her mother, 83-year-old Eunice Brooks, were found dead in August 2014. Authorities say Marshall-Thomas died of blunt force trauma and asphyxia and Brooks died from blunt force trauma.
