Man Run Over By Tractor, Seriously Injured In Md.

JOPPA, Md. (AP) -- Emergency responders in Harford County say a man was seriously injured in an accident involving a tractor.

The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company says that the man was run over by a tractor Wednesday in Joppa. It happened near the 2600-block of Old Joppa Road.

Fire officials say the man suffered traumatic injuries. He was flown to Shock Trauma in serious but stable condition with a broken pelvis, several broken ribs and facial fractures.

It wasn't immediately clear how the accident happened.
